Questa prova di abilità consiste nel lanciare 15 coltelli su 15 bersagli numerati disposti intorno ad una o più figure che possono essere disegnate o semplicemente stilizzate.
Il lanciatore, da una distanza minima di 3 metri, lancia 5 serie da tre coltelli obbligatoriamente in senso orario partendo dal bersaglio in basso a sinistra.
Se vuole il lanciatore può effettuare tre lanci di prova su qualunque bersaglio comunicandolo all'arbitro.
Se un coltello infisso ostacola il lancio successivo può essere rimosso.
Ogni bersaglio colpito assegna 5 punti; un coltello che si infigge sulla figura sottrae 10 punti; un coltello infisso in zona neutra non assegna nessun punto.
Il punteggio massimo raggiungibile è di 75 punti.
Nel caso in cui uno o più lanciatori ottengano lo stesso punteggio in zona podio, questi effettueranno un'altra prova completa.
This skill test involves throwing 15 knives at 15 numbered targets arranged around one or more figures, which may be drawn or simply stylized.
The thrower, from a minimum distance of 3 meters, throws five sets of three knives, clockwise starting from the bottom left target.
If desired, the thrower may make three test throws at any target, notifying the referee.
If a stuck knife impedes the next throw, it may be removed.
Each target hit scores 5 points; a knife stuck in the figure deducts 10 points; a knife stuck in the neutral zone scores no points.
The maximum achievable score is 75 points.
If one or more throwers achieve the same score in the podium zone, they will attempt another complete trial.
